*Those of you that knew me when I was an Acura driving teenager and young 20-something...those days have officially gone with the sell of my Acura and upgrade to an SUV that we LOVE. We got a 2008 Armada and we love it!
To answer some of the questions we've gotten:
Yes, we know its huge.
No, I'm not pregnant.
No, we don't plan on having 10 kids.
Yes, we miss the gas mileage the Acura got.
Yes, it fits in our garage.
No, it doesn't feel like we're driving a semi.
We've already taken it on a few road trips and its wonderful! It fits all of our stuff (plus our big dog :)).
Here I am the night before we sold the Acura:

*We've been to 2 family weddings for Matt's family lately. One was on a beautiful golf course and one just outside Austin. The first of the two, the couple had set up a photo booth with funny hats and glasses and stuff where you could get pictures taken and then have a copy for yourself and one for their guestbook. I wish I would have thought of it...so much fun!! Most of you probably saw the picture on Facebook of the nutty family I married into, but in case you missed this GREAT photo..here it is again! (Sorry for the flash on the picture...it was a picture of the real picture.) Is Matt's dad's face not HILARIOUS??? :)
One of my new favorite pictures. Me and Pops. If you don't know him, you should. :)
*Matt's 29th birthday was in late August (yes, I'm THAT behind). We spent the evening with his fam at McCormick and Schmick's, his very favorite restaurant.
That night after dinner, we went over to Pop's house (Matt's beloved grandfather and the handsome man in the photo with me up there...) to hang out and look at some old pictures. Check out what we found. We have always said they looked alike, but REALLY?!? This showed us how truly alike they look.*In October, I went with my mom to Missouri for a Galloway Family Reunion (my mother's mother's side of the family). Got to meet some people I had never met and got to see some that I hadn't seen in a while. My grandmother had 7 siblings, so there were plenty to see and talk to!
*In September, my precious niece, Finley turned ONE year old! :) Its been a really fast year but she is so great and super cute just like big sis, Avery. My beautiful sister and Fin on her party day!

*Work is still great....just VERY busy. This last week on Tuesday, we had a record number of deliveries. (At least for a smaller hospital like mine.) Between 7 am and 7 pm, we delivered SIXTEEN singleton babies. No twins, no triplets....just lots of single babies. It was CRAZY! Wanna know what was 9 months ago??? :)
If you are still reading...thanks! :) I think I finally have everything up to date with us. Looking SO forward to the holidays and spending time with family. Not to mention the open of this...
Harry Potter is a "holiday thing" for my family. If a new one has just come out, like this year, we always go see it together. If not, an old one is on the dvd. :) Can't wait! Thanks for coming back to read, even though its been an eternity since I've updated. Hope you are having a great start to your holiday season!

Good update! I like your new ride and I'm sure Jake does too!
Love the new suv! It's a beast. Your pictures of Celinda are so cute. So glad to catch up with you recently.
Ashley,
Nice blog. I read it from beginning to end. I could say this is the second book I have completed ;) I hope you have a great holiday in Dallas. Drive safe.
Best,
Steven
I'm still here! Great update - love all the pictures but Matt's Dad in the tiara gets my vote!
