Our lives lately... by the numbers

84...the number of years we celebrated for Pops this past weekend. If you don't know Pops, you are really missing out. :) The man can still jump on and off a tractor, can bake better than anyone I know, and can stop you dead with those blue eyes. :) (P.S. To those who can't see it based on this picture; my husband is an exact copy of Pop's. Photos of Pops in his 20's look identical to Matt.)

2...the number of mother's we got to spend Mother's Day with. We got to go to church Sunday morning with Debbie, Matt's mom. Then, we went to dinner and the movies with my mama, Gayla, that night. Simply put---they are they best.

2 pictures of our mothers that I love:
Pic is of my mom and Matt during a trip to Matt's family farm a few years ago. She's a country gal at heart, can you tell? :)
Matt with his mom at Christmas...circa 1985.

4...the number of days until we are in Canada!!! Its all I can think about. If you've talked to me lately, you know this already. :)...

Lake Moraine, Banff National Park
4...the number of picture/video taking devices I am taking on this vacation. See the picture above if you need a reason why. :) (For those asking themselves, 4?! How? Answer: Snapshot camera, DSLR camera with 2 lens, video camera, disposable water safe camera for white-water rafting trip.) Yep, I'm that nerdy. Ha!

12...the number of hours I have left to work until my vacation gets here.

27...days until my 28th birthday!

31...days until our 5th anniversary!

750...the number of miles we drove 2 weekends ago when we went to visit Matt's cousin, Davey, and his family in San Angelo. This included a trip up to Abilene also.
So of course, we had to stop by ACU and wax a little nostalgia. We: played a round of bowling in the old bowling alley (we did this often when Matt use to come visit me. There is REALLY not much to do in Abilene on the weekends. :)), caught a west Texas sunset, and went to church Sunday with the fam before heading back to Houston.

Have a great week! With all those cameras, I'm sure I'll have plenty to post about when we return! :)
